BLOG: August 2016 Life Update

Greetings my little stalkers!
This month has been quite the eventful one. I had my second story published, which is an incredible feeling. I am beyond proud of myself for the leaps and bounds I have made in the past year and a half or so towards my success as an adult. I am still overcoming many obstacles imposed upon me by the government organizations based in my local area. I hold many ill feelings, mainly regarding distrust and fear, which may never be defeated, unfortunately. Maybe one day I will be accept the ill past with which I have been handed. I am blessed that that is a part of my past, and although I am not at peace with it, it has provided me with a learning opportunity that I may not have ever been afforded otherwise. I've learned that although our government may be a decent form to maintain organization, and assure the blind masses that they are taken care of, in the wrong hands, the power is too much to overcome. I've learned that evil resides everywhere, and I have learned that very very few can be trusted.

I post on this blog semi-regularly only for the fact that I believe in keeping record, and unless the internet crashes, by some apocalyptic fate, this record shall be available for many years to come. It allows you, the reader, the opportunity to know me. It's also somewhat fun, and provides me a central-hub to base my content on.

I am currently working on a short story, which I may present in a series as I did the last time. This story, as most, is based in fact with fiction to enhance the story line. People seem to enjoy my works, from photography, to writing in many mediums, and I am contemplating pursuing my future as a journalist. It would be incredible to find something that I am good at, with which I may make a living. The only pitfall is overcoming the mental disorders which I have been awarded. This too, will end in a learning opportunity which I am grateful for, however in the present I have difficulty facing it.

With the situation that has evolved down at UW, I have seen, once again, how bias the media has been. The headlines read almost the same every time, "Liberal College Blogger Faked Rape Threat From Conservative Student." This poses a question for me, however, as a consumer of information. What evidence has been presented against this student that proves that she did it. We as consumers know absolutely nothing about what has been said or done. The media has basically convicted this student, although they are not stating what evidence has been provided against her. So, how do we know that she did or didn't do it. She hasn't gone to court. In the situation where you are being accused of a crime, you would appreciate to be presumed innocent until you are proven guilty. Why can't we give this person the same respect? I am not a liberal.
